Ultimate boss key

If you find it hard sometimes to press a boss key before whatever you want to hide has already been seen then this boss key will solve your problems. This boss key uses a webcam to detect when the door is being opened and then it changes the desktop to what you are meant to be working on.

What you need:

• Webcam
• Dexpot
• Webcam Zone Trigger

1. First download and install dexpot this is the program used to hide what you are doing. Dexpot must be setup so you have at least two desktops (one for what you want to hide and the other for what your meant to be doing. Set up a hot key to switch to desktop 2 (the work desktop) I used ALT-2 .

2. Next you must download install and setup Webcam Zone Trigger. Zone trigger is available as a free trial if you know of free alternatives please mention them in the comments. Setting up zone trigger is quite straight forward just select your input device then you are ready to add triggers.

3. Once Webcam Zone Trigger is setup add a motion trigger on the door so when it is opened the trigger is activated. Set the trigger to press the hotkey specified earlier in dexpot I am using ALT-2. When the door is opened Webcam Zone Trigger presses the hot key and dexpot changes to the other desktop before anyone sees what was on your desktop originally.
